SKINS ARE COMPATIBLE WITH ALL EXPANSION PACKS. CHECK FOR SPECIAL CUSTOM SKIN TONE BUYABLES FOR HOT DATE , SIM VACATION, AND SUPERSTAR To download, click the name and save the zip file in your hard drive. Open the zip file, and extract the game files in to the correct folder following this path:
C:/ProgramFiles/Maxis/TheSims/GameData/Skins

Important!! ALL custom character Sims with custom skin tone come with all necessary skin files in one zip, or separate. Pajamas, swimsuit and formal for regular The Sims players may or may not be in the same zip. Check for "playable" versions as well as zips marked TS for any additional files you may need. ALL Hot Date, Vacation and Superstar "Buyable" skins are in separate zip files marked HD, V, or SS. You MUST download the regular set of files AND the separate files for the "Buyable" formal, swimsuit, lingerie, winterwear and high fashion. Follow the Instructions for extracting the files into the correct folders or your special custom skin tone character Sim will look very strange in the game's default skins. You can also use Sim Enhancer or Sim Wardrobe to switch from the default to the correct skins. Characters will be updated for Superstar as soon as it is "humanly" possible. :-)
